Default Setting outputs for Core Audio drivers??

Hey guys!

I am trying to do something really simple like routing the stereo outputs of itunes to channels 15&16 of my DA16x. The hardware setup in core audio manager looks really simple! But it doesn't matter what I select for the output, it always plays from channels 1&2.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Default Re: Setting outputs for Core Audio drivers??

Protools HD hardware just gives 8 channels under Core Audio. I believe a HD Native Card can utilise all 16. Perhaps HDX does the same but I don't know for a fact.
