Mono source = stereo file?
Hello everyone,
I'm quite new to PT, but I know my way around the DAW world, so I'm kind of puzzled about something. So, I have Transfuser on a mono instrument track, and currently I have a kick drum programed that I would like to bring into the arrangement. Using the built in recorder, I've recorded a 2 bar loop and then I'll try to drag-n-drop it to a mono audio track that I previously created. Now here's what I don't get, when I drag-n-drop from the mono instrument track to a mono audio track, the file is a split stereo!!! My questions are, why is this, what am I doing wrong or, is this just the way it is? Thanks a lot in advance. |
