Default Envelope Problem in Hybrid

I am a Mac OSX user / PT 9.0 new to using the Hybrid synth.

I am trying to introduce vibrato on a sound with a one-second delay. My instinct was to apply Env1 (with a one-second delay before the attack envelope) as Depth to LFO 1 and use LFO1 to modulate the pitch of Osc 1.

Problem: I cannot get Env1 to have any affect of the LFO. When I strike a note, the vibrato is heard immediately instead of being delayed by 1 second. If I change delay to 32 seconds etc, I still hear vibrato immediately.

Can anyone help me figure out where I am going wrong? How do you guys control the envelope for your LFOs in Hybrid?

Thanks so so so much,

Katie

Hi Katie, I took a look at this and on the surface there does seem to be a problem. I'll see if I can dig some information up about ENV 1 & 2.

I believe it is 1.6 but I don't have access to it at home (it's a school's plug-in)

I have been feeling insane about this!

Thanks for responding.

ENV 1 & 2 have been confirmed as a bug and lodged. Good catch!

Really? Well that is a relief. Do you work for Avid? How did you figure it out?

Want to tell my teacher I deserve an A?

I'm kidding, but thanks.
