Mbox Pro 10.3.7 Kernel Panic
FYI Avid: Just helped a friend setup their new Mac book Pro PT10 / 11 and Mbox pro. The drivers provided with the Mbox pro cause a kernel panic. OS X would not boot after installing the suggested drivers. This machine was new out of the box, and PT was the first third party application installed.
I was able to resolve this issue by booting in safe mode and uninstalling the driver. I then downloaded the driver from the Avid website. Regardless, this situation was less than ideal. I have a log if you are interested. |
