Default Time stretch?

Hey,

I'm trying to take a stereo mix of a drum kit out of one song and put it into another, but the tempos are not the same. They're only about a 7bpm (I think) difference so shouldnt be too bad - any ideas?

The best way would be with the multi track version of Beat Detective. It works better if the destination tempo is faster. Also, you would have to lock the rest of the performance to the grid. If there are live instruments, hopefully they were cut to a metronome.

I haven't been on a TDM system in a while and I don't have the multi track version, which comes with Music Production Toolkit, so I am a little out of practice. Basically, Beat Detective lets you define, for example, a four bar chunk. Then it identifies transients, slices them, locks them to the grid, and then creates crossfades. By doing this you change the tempo. You do need to have everything accurately locked to the tempo grid first.
