The second system looks fine - do your sessions move between these systems?

Thanks, we'll update the first system and see what happens. The 2nd system is actually the one where we've had that problem more often, and no, the sessions haven't been moving between systems.

A couple more questions for everyone:

1. Are you making a selection for the punch?
2. How many punches or playlists deep are you when this seems to start occurring?
3. Are you set to Bars and Beats or some other mode?
4. Are you seeing this occurring with Quick Punch, Track Punch or Destructive Punch? Have you been drinking the punch? (you don't really have to answer that last one).

Please also provide the session sample rate, format (wav, aiff), bit depth and whether it's a stereo or surround session as well as any other possibly relevant info.

1. No, not making selections for the punch.

2. Seems to be a good 3 or 4 punches into a set of regions (if not more) before this starts to happen. Don't think I've seen in on the first playlist, but after I get 2 or 3 deep, that's when it's started to happen (that may just be me though).

3. Always in Bars/Beats, in Grid mode. I think it's happened in slip too, but don't quote me on that.

4. Quick punch is on. No booze yet, but I could sure go for a drink!

I'm using PT for ADR, and I have same problem too. (PT 7.2 HD, G4). Also, sometimes a session with a lot of punch per track, region on the LEFT before time marker is removing from time line after recording (but this region is remaining in region list), or will have another waveform than you are listеning.

1. No.
2. It'll happen after from3 to 6 punch on a track.
3. In Slip mode.
4. Quick Punch mode.

HUGE BUG!!!! driving me crazy (pops up at random times too!)

Yep I've seen this one too (on 3-4 different rigs at different studios)
FU#$(*# pissed me off so much trying to track vocals I nearly threw the monitor across the room!

Needless to say I won't be upgrading my home 7.1 rig for a WHILE....
This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! NOT OK AT ALL!!!!!!

yup, i have had the same thing happening here for a few days now...

1) No Selection, punching on the fly

2) The most recent one took place on the twelfth punch, no alternate playlists involved

3) Gridded to bars and beats or in slip

4) Quick Punch is enabled.

It seems to be pretty random, but the region immediately to the left of the region i had just punched in changed from BV 2 -10 to BV 2-07. I've noticed it three or four times now... all sessions at 24 bit 44.1 stereo, has happened on a few different sessions, but all on the same drive.

Dual 2.3 G5 with 3 gig o' ram, 7.2 cs1, HD3 Accel

Same problem here, my plugins are up to date. It only seems to happen when I am NOT using playlists, which I normally do.

Quick update - while we've not been able to reproduce this yet, we've got a few sessions from customers that they indicate will exhibit the problem. Hopefully one will result in a reproducible case so that we can get on a fix.
