system requirements
Hello,
I am using LE 7.3.1 and Reason/Rewire 4.0, Mbox 2. I am wondering what the best system is to maximize my track and plugin count. Currently, I have a Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook 2gh with 2g of RAM, and it is proving to be not powerful enough to run Rewire, Amplitude etc.. and use more than 3 tracks, despite adjusting HW buffers etc.. ..looks like I will need to upgrade.. will a MacBook Pro solve my problems? should I just get a faster iMac instead? any help is much appreciated, thanks. |

Re: system requirements
Sounds to me like there's a problem as a Mac with that spec should have no difficulty coping with such sessions. If you have not already done so, check out the optimization tips in the troubleshooting thread (e.g turning off Airport/Bluetooth, Sleep Mode etc).
General Troubleshooting If you're still having problems, post back with full details of the problem, what steps you've taken and your system spec. Help us help you http://www.myspace.com/philogg |
