Install fail
Have not been able install PT 8.0.4 from DVD . OSX 10.6.5 .The install gets up to, "Running application files installer script" I left it installing and 90 min later no more progress was made. Have tried numerous times with the same results.The Mboxpro 3g is working fine with iTunes and Abelton Live. Any help is much appreciated.

But did you try killing the installer and seeing if ProTools works? I had similar errors with installs for Eleven Rack on several Macs but the install actually is fully usable if you try.
