Can't get ProTools to work...?

Ok, currently, I am unable to get protools to work for me. Can anyone tell me what my problem is? I have a AMD Duron processor with 192 megs of ram and 11.9 gb on my C drive. Also, to replace my non-working sound card, i just picked up a hercules muse xl. Is there anything wrong with these?

When I try to start a new session, I get error 6008. This is saying that protools can't "reacquuire the hardware and must now exit" I don't think the problem is my memory, but that's what the error says. I even closed all of my applications in the "Ctl Alt Del" option.

Please help me if you can. I need to be able to use this to begin recording a CD tomorrow!
