Replace optiarc ad-7170a DVD drive

Nothing but problems with this drive since I bought my Mac Pro 1,1. It is in a Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2 x 2.66 GHz bought in 2007. Following countless sense key errors the final insult was that it will not even recognise Blu-Ray media. Can anyone recommend a replacement drive?
