-6032 Error
Hello,
I have a 2009 Mac Pro (2x4 2.93GHz) with 8GB of RAM and OS X v10.6.5 and Pro Tools|HD v9.0.1 (192 I/O, SYNC HD). I also have the Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3D. I can't reproduce this at will, but there are times when I will instantiate a TDM plug-in and I am prompted by this message. A track has an invalid TDM connection. Make sure all tracks are assigned to a valid output (-6032) I know this happened when instantiating a MasterX3 (v4.0), but I can't reproduce it. I can run an extended, looped RAM test overnight, but is it really a RAM issue? Also, does AVID no longer offer free/complimentary support with HD v9 upgrades? I see something about an Avid Support Code (ASC) on the website, but the email registration confirmation for my HD v9 upgrade does not have that information listed. Thanks for reading!

Apple Hardware Test successfully completed nineteen (19) extended hardware tests without an error. If this is indeed a RAM issue, Apple Hardware Test isn't revealing it.
I also ran DigiTest, and both cards have a status of Passed. Avid, any ideas? Also, if I have to pay for support, just say so. I'm not looking to get something for nothing. I just don't want to have to pay for something that I should be getting for free if a v9 HD upgrade comes with free support. I can't find anything definitive that says it does or does not. Have you contacted TC to see if ver. 4 works on PT 9? Many of the 3rd party plug ins I try to run do not run well on PT 9.

I wouldn't trust software to test RAM - we see RAM 'pass' regularly that, when swapped out, the problem goes away.
I would probably try swapping or replacing RAM to see if that helps. |
