Ahh! PT 7 sessions don't open on 6.9! HELP!

Someone please tell me there is a work around.

Does the lack of response mean that it is not possible? Where is the warning for that? Hey Digi, what's the go here! I've upgraded to PT 7 at home and my work is on 6.9. I can't work from home anymore! Pro Tool 7 is completely useless to me until everyone gets it.

What is the proceedure for going back to 6.9.

When you have the sessions open on your PT7 rig, use "Save session as" and select the correct file type for compatibility with 6.9 - that's all you need.

Where is the warning for that?

In the "What's new in PT7" PDF that is intalled your Digidesign->Documentation folder. The different file extension should've given you a little hint though. No worries though mate, the "Save session as" is quick and painless

Hey Taddy, Open the session with PT7. Go under File, "Save Copy In" and "Session Format"... You can then save files all the way back to 5.1 to 6.9.
