I'm of the mind that the mp3 is better if created from a wav, yes.
But regardless of all that, I just never bounce to mp3. Never have, never will.

Same here; I always bounce to whatever the session is & on top of that, I still never bounce as an MP3 but AAC file(MP4)...

It seems to me (as always) the op didn't do his homework before making his purchase.

If you can't make music with le there is always PTHD.

I have the MPT but I never bounce to mp3 either. I don't use an Ipod. If I need an mp3 I use Wavelab. It converts a .wav file to an mp3 in about 10 seconds.
