Can\'t Open/Create new file from File Menu
I've started having this problem since attempting to open a PC protools file on my mac yesterday: When attempting to open a file from the file menu, or create a new file from the file menu, protools crashes (giving me a mac type 3 error). I can open mac protools files fine by double-clicking on them in the finder. But trying to open PC protools files in the finder causes a crash as well. In fact, it was one of these crashes that seems to have precipitated this problem. FWIW, I used to be able to open these files with no problems.
I've rebuilt my desktop, and reset my parameter ram, and thrown out my protools prefs. No improvement. Oh, I am running 5.3.2 on OS 9.2.2. Dual 867 G4. Any ideas, folks? |
