Is it possible to work with SMPTE timecode on ProTool Free? The "ruler view" of the editing window doesn't include Timecode. (only Bars:Beats , Minutes:seconds and samples)

In a word, no. Digi has opted to not include SMPTE support in PT Free or PTLE

PT Free does lock to incoming MTC from an external SMPTE unit or an internal MIDI bus (OMS/IAC).
