New s1 not showing up

I just got the s1 and I already have 2 artist mixes and a artist control , registered my s1 plugged it in , unplugged the ethernet from my control and plugged it into my s1 powered everything off and am trying to add my s1 to my surface but in eucontrol settings , ITS NOT POPPING UP. It is connected exactly how my artist control was .....can anyone help? Im losing my mind in here

On the S1 do you have avid logos on the screens, if not push the power connector in and turn it.
Otherwise with everything powered up use the switch on the back of the S1 to shut it off and back on again.

Yes the AVID logo is on the screen powered off and back on 3 times my surfaces still only shows my artist mixes the S1 is not popping up only my artist mixes

Can you reduce down to just the S1, try the mixes connection too

I now have only the s1 connected and nothing is coming up in my surfaces at all. Also I remember when I updated to Mohave like 2 years ago my pro tools stopped working correctly and Eucon wouldnt work , I had to go into my macs preferences accessibility and enable eucon to let apps control my computer. Dont know if thats the problem or what. But I just bought this thing about to buy 3 more but this will not work

Yes EuControl and mcclient should be allowed the Mac accessibility prefs.
Have you tried a direct cable from the S1 to the Mac?
You didn't set static IP addresses on the Mixs and Control did you?

Yes I did have to set IP addresses on them! I remember doing that on a phone call from avid they had me change the IP address on both

Still trying to get this thing to work, am I supposed to do something with the IP address?

If you set IP address on them then you would have probably done it on the Mac too. You will either have to set the Mac back to DHCP(preferred) or set a fixed IP on the S1. To do that though you will need to know the IP of the Mac and set the S1 one number different. Instructions to set the S1's IP are at the back of its guide. I can probably talk you through this tomorrow in personal messages.
