Trouble recording guitar direct in to Pro Tools
Howdy, Over the last few months i have grown very comfortable with using the DAW and its Features.
Just until recently i wanted to start recording music direct in through my mbox 2. I plugged straight into the DI in the back, switched the input channel toggle from Mic to DI, and heard the signal, slightly distorted though, through my headphones, and then later my monitors. However, i can not figure out how to get this signal onto a new track. I fired up a new session with an instrument track, played with the I/O in the setup as well the track options, routed out from the inst track to an audio track to see if it could help, tried researching but wasnt able to find anything specific. So i post this on the forum in hopes of someone who has overcome this same problem, any ideas ? |
