Default 003 Console Continuously Going Offline & Online.

Too many hardware problems, so I updated to 8.0.4, things just got worse! As I browse through IE or open folders it goes offline, then back on,then it says welcome to pro tools open session, sometimes the host light just continues to flash and I have to restart, in the middle of a recording session it froze and i got a hi pitch sound going through headphones I couldnt unmute monitors.

Also randomly today my AT4050 had a weird Distortion/Buzz sound, I thought the mic was done for! I tried another daw and it sounded fine, then went back to pro tools and it was good again, i never experienced so much hardware problems in one day. Im scared it might damage microphone cause of what happened earlier and its just slowing me down.

Thanks in advance to whoever can help.

it sounds like a big mess to me...

in this case for me it would be the best to turn off everything, pull all the wires out of anything and start configuration all over again from scratch and think about how to do it better this time... also the pc.. i would just fkn format and configure the machine new with a clear mind and a full backup, of course

also i would recommend not to use internet on the same machine as pro tools, even tough i would disconnect the network interface

I would try to find another computer you can use to test this with--that will tell you if the computer is the problem or if the 003 might have a problem.
