Master X3 won't save new presets

I just got the Master X3 V4 and it's running on PT 7.3.1 on Tiger. When I go to Save a new preset, it shows as greyed out unless I point to some place OTHER than the Maste X3 root folder in Library>ApSupport>Digi>PlugIn Presets>Master X3, but when I locate to any of the other valid locations, I get a PT warning dialog saying basically "illegal location" and that I must save within the Root folder.

I have contacted TC about this, but was wondering if you guys ever experienced this before?

Check the permissions for all the folders in that hierarchy - most likely you do not have proper access for at least one of them.

I can't believe I overlooked that. I feel like a such a rookie now ;-)
