Default Mbox ASIO drivers \"looping audio help

How can i stop my Mbox looping around audio so i can play the 2 outs of the Mbox (with asio) then put them thru a desk (mixing it with hardware and outbaoard) and recording it back into the Mbox / Computer as audio?

I have been doing this fine, playing my 2 Mbox outs into my desk and mixing it with my MIDI sequenced Hardware synths. But i get a delay and a "flangey" track when i monitor/listen and even record the finished mixdown back into the computer?! (desk mixdown outputs back into the Mbox)

What am i doing wrong? can i do this succesfully? i dont want to buy a DAT recorder just so i can record the L & R outputs of my finished "desk mixdown"!

I dont really want to record all my synths etc as audio as i like to record it all live as a mixdown and my PC isnt that strong to record all the audio trakcs individually

Any help please
