Just in case you did not know. I emailed tech support and they emailed the fix. Works great so far.

I emailed waves and they didnt get back to me yet. If anyone can pass this fix on to me I would greatly apreciate it.. This problem is making my life hell!

Thanx

unfortunately for me.. Waves did not respond to my email as of yet.. I am waiting patiently for this fix. It is really an annoyance when im sitting infront of clients and blairing digital noise comes out of my speakers.. Hopefully waves will get back to me ASAP.

why wouldn't you just post the link, rather than trying to email every PT user who has waves?

Speaking of Waves, I just bought Waves V4 and PT upgrade to 6.0, but have not yet installed. So, do I have a buzz to worry about getting a fix for, AND, will I need an iLok to make the Waves pluggins work with PT 6.0?

Thanks
Richard

You do have ocassional audible distortion to worry about when you upgrade if you don't have the fix but the fix is simple and seems to work fine. You just swap out your WaveShell-DAE file. The distortion occurs periodically when you press play on the transport. The workaround is to stop and restart.

Icouri, there is no link to this file as Waves has not chosen to post it on their website. I assume this is because they are still in the late stages of testing the fix. I say this because they asked for feedback on how it worked when they emailed it to me.
