Default Clam Shell?

Hi All, Are there any known problems (eg over heating) when using a 17" Macbook Pro in Clamshell Mode...Cheers!

There is no problem running in "Clamshell" mode since this is simply closing the display on the Macbook Pro. The cooling vents are located at the back below the display hinge and are not obstructed in the closed clamshell position. Make sure that you leave the rear of the Macbook Pro clear to allow proper ventilation (this is true for the display in both open and closed positions).

I think you´d be better off keeping your MBP open when working in ProTools, since the keyboard area can heat up pretty drastically when working with big sessions.
