Mac World NY?

Ok Ok, after ploughing through well over 130 posts on Digiword - Nashville (ok, 002world)
I remembered that just the day before it was Mr I'm not a neo nazi honest Jobs' day to wow us all with a hoast of new macs that aren't exactly what we asked for! But low and behold I can't find anyhting other than oh apple did alright in the first half of the years sales. Can anyone enlighten me on what went down in NYC?

1. They're Charging for iTools

2. new 17" Widescreen LCD iMac, lower prices on the other iMac models

3. $100 price reduction on the iPods, 10Gb now thinner, a 20Gb model has been introduced for $499 and there's a new OS on the iPod.

4. No new Powermacs, iBooks or Powerbooks were introduced.

5. There was a Jaguar preview, there's a lot of new networking capabilities involving wireless and mobile phones coming.

Why not just head to Mac News Network or any of the other mac news sites to check it out in more detail.

The keynote was long and boring but there was enough software previews and introductions to make it a pretty good keynote, even if I was just watching the video stream at home.

No news here and no news on apple.com
But thanks for putting a little light in my direction. Now I might go out and get a new iMac!
