Default No input on Analog 2

I don't get any input from Analog 2. Anyone have any suggestions? I have what I think is an original Mbox with two XLR inputs and Analog 1 works fine. I've only recently wanted to record two tracks at a time and there's no input when I plug the same working mic and cable from Analog 1 into Analog 2 using the same settings on the Mbox. This is very disappointing. If I shout into the mic, there is a little bit of sound picked up that you can see in the sample display in ProTools and it sounds like it's clipping even though the sound level is very low.

Default Re: No input on Analog 2

Is the mic a dynamic or condenser(requiring Phantom power)? Just curious. IIRC, there is a single button for phantom power? If its "original" as in the baby blue version that stands up, with the "focusrite" preamps(http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...guide/en365811), it is way past its end of support(LE8.0.1 was the last version of PT to work with it). If its the darker blue Mbox 2(https://reverb.com/item/3871759-digi...MT8P8HAQ&pla=1) then it should still be working, but if it has a dead channel, it would not be worth the cost of repair(you can buy another second hand one for under $100)
