Default Trouble with Digi 002r Standalone ASIO Drivers

So I primarily use PT12 but I also have Ableton 9 and Reaper that I would like to use my existing setup with. I've downloaded the latest Core Audio drivers (8.04 I believe) but I can't get either program to recognize my 002. In Reaper I can see the ASIO Digidesign Driver FW002 but it doesn't display any I/0 and says "Failed loading ASIO driver" and in Ableton I can see the driver as well but the same result when I try to use it. I've tried legacy drivers as well but to no avail. I know it's a driver issue since it's consistent between third party programs but Pro Tools works flawlessly. I've scoured the internet trying to figure this out to no avail. Any input?

I would try the latest 003r driver(9.xx I think) as the 2 units are very similar.

I would not, cause the latest does not contain ASIO part of the driver.
