Transfuser/Axiom Transport issue

So...easy enough to get the transport controls on my Axiom 49 to control Transfuser. Play button plays, check. Stop button stops, check. Record button...um...nothing?

Am I missing something? Ok, maybe it would have problems distinguishing exactly which module to record-enable...so could we at least have it so that I can MIDI-learn a given record button? Why is MIDI learn disabled on some of the things I'd most like to use it on? No record buttons...no metronome on/off...seems kind of arbitrary, and defeats the whole "play it like an instrument" work flow for me.
