Default Waveburner Pro not recognizing FW drive

I'm not sure why this is happening. All Toast, iTunes and FW Authoring Support extensions and have been disabled . My drive is a Formac 24x(MMC). I was under the impession that Waveburner supports all MMC FW drives. Any ideas?

Current Version is 2.2.1- If you don't have it, go here to download it:

My Pioneer DVD-R drive, also MMC compatible, isn't recognized either. I emailed Emagic 6 months ago about having problems. I never heard a reply. My guess is that WaveBurner 2.2.1 still doesn't support most FireWire burners.

I read somewhere that Apple might buy ROXIO. Here's hoping they do and improve JAM!

I do agree otherwise.. check with EMagic for compatibility... and let us know.

Hi

I think Emagic is very slow in updating drivers. My Mac 867DP is only able to burn the first 8 track numbers using WB Pro. I have written to Emagic long ago - nothing happens! I have to rely on my old scsi burner.
