M-Audio 410 preamps better/same/worse than Digi 001 preamps?
I finally decided to move on from my digi001 and PT6.4 to an M-audio 410 and PT7. (I had to get a more compatible audio interface for my video editor, 001 way too buggy, and it was time for PT7).
Anyway, not that it's going to sway my purchase, as the 410 is already ordered, I was just wondering what people have observed/heard if anything regarding the quality of the 410's pres vs. the ones on the Digi 001. The 001 pres get/got a lot of criticism and rightfully so I think. Just wondering if I'll see a slight improvement, no change, or possibly even worse results. Thanks! Kip
