Duplicate bug?
I recently noticed a drift problem when duplicating audio regions in pro tools. I discovered it after duplicating a perfectly selected on the grid loop x20. It seems that after the 4th or 5th instance of the region it started to drift off the grid by 1 sample. I was only able to see the drift when I zoomed in for an extreme close up of the region. The drifting also occured when using the "repeat" function as well as the loop tool. I am on a pro tools m-powered system (7.3) but my friend was able to duplicate the problem on his 7.3 HD rig.
Here is an example of what i mean. http://www.over-modulated.com/Picture%203.png Notice how the region is no longer locked to the grid. |
