Currently the only way to control ProTools using the ReMOTE SL is to emulate one of the supported control surfaces. Using the manual MIDI CC templates it is possible to emulate the JL Cooper CS-10. However it may be possible in a future SL update to be able to emulate the Mackie HUI, which
would incorporate feedback from ProTools to the SL, allowing it to operate in a similar way to the Automap with Cubase etc. This is something that we are looking into and hope to implement, but has not yet been confirmed, and may be some time before it is implemented.

The ReMOTE SL series now supports HUI emulation, as clunky as it may be.
