PT 10 and Reason 6

Reason 6 opens in PT 10 but will NOT open in slave mode. Anyone else have this issue.

Are you running reason in 64-bit mode? That's the default, but PT can't run 64-bit plugins yet, so no go. the fix is to find Reason in your Applications folder, then Get Info (cmd-I). In the General panel, make sure that "Open in 32-bit mode" is checked. Reason should be available (and working) in PT again...

OK, now you've lost me. By not running in time, do you mean it plays back a little late? (As in it's delayed by the buffer and overhead - which in my experience is pretty low) Or is it worse than that, like maybe the clips are a little off-grid (or on a grid that's really small, i.e. 1/64th note). (This is something that used to happen to my students all the time.)

No problems with PT10 and Reason 6 here. Reason is using more cpu in rewire than in the past. However, all of my old sessions instantly sound better running through the new mixer.

hey guys, i don't mean to sidetrack anything, but on this thread i started i'm having a midi problem with reason 5 rewired through pt10. it's slightly not synced or something. maybe this is related?
