PT windows stuck in reload loop

Has anyone ever come across where a song loading up gets caught in a loop? From the mix and edit screen and the transport screen all keep reloading. Eventually says Protools not responding. I tried to creat a new session and import session data and that worked for a while. Then after several session reloads and started over again. Tried to do another import session and that time it started right away. I can't seem to get this song loaded. Anyone have any ideas?
