Re: Waves TrueVerb
Sound Control in the UK.
It was a bit of a one off, i was very lucky. Mind you, the upgrade when i upgrade to PT 6 will cost around £200 UK pounds ($270) Good luck. Ian

Re: Waves TrueVerb
As others have noted here and elsewhere - the TrueVerb is much more a room simulator than a tried and true (pun intended) reverb. If you're looking for a great sounding reverb plugin for vox, the mix bus, etc., Waves Ren Verb really is very nice - one of the only plugin reverbs I've tried that bests most of my outboard gear (though my outboard gear does NOT consist of any super high end TC or Lexicon stuff - AND I haven't tried Altiverb yet)...but the mixes I've done and heard with the Ren Verb continue to impress.

Re: Waves TrueVerb
Waves Ren bundle does ship with the digi 002- you should speak to your retailer if you didn't get it.

Re: Waves TrueVerb
True verb is very good.
But, the best sounding reverb plug-in is Altiverb, in my opinion. Hard to compare to the other verb plugs. However you need a powerful G4 to use the verb. It's the best CPU hug. http://www.audioease.com/ I think D-Verb is great as a effect. |

hmmmm....
is there anyone out there who purchased an 002 on or after 3/4/03 and if so, did you get your waves package? following the advice of tha k man a copule notes ago in this thread; yesterday, i called the retailer who sold me the 002. they started some process to have the waves rennaisance bundle shipped to me, but today i get an e-mail from them telling me that they're sorry for the confusion, but according to digidesign, the waves bundle doesn't ship anymore. digi -- what's up here? i know your site (which has listed the waves package since before i purchased my 002 and as recently as 5 minutes ago when i e-mailed my retailer) says the plugs are subject to change, but it's somewhat of a dissatisfier to have received everything else on the list but the waves package and have you continue to list it on your site if you really aren't shipping it anymore (small print notwithstanding). when did you stop shipping the waves package, and if you're not going to ship it, would you please update your site and lower your customers' expectations a notch? perhaps i could hold out against hope and learn that my retailer has it wrong and magically, the waves package will appear at my doorstep soon? you have my address, digi (in my best austin...) i thank you, steve |

Re: Waves TrueVerb
try Altiverb, I have a tc m300, lexicon and the altiverb blows them away for natural sounds.
I am really impressed and confused why it has'nt been discussed alot here. The demo will give you a good idea, well worth the look. AJ

Re: Waves TrueVerb
I think TrueVerb is very useful. I certainly, prefer the Altiverb plug much better. It doesn't require as much tailoring. I especially love the Lexicon 480 verbs( listed as 80's High End Reverb IRs). There is one particular vocal plate that is amazing on a snare when applied discretely from a bus. The Lexicon IRs aren't as taxing on the CPU. The EMT is very nice on vox.

Re: Waves TrueVerb
Altiverb is absolutely fantastic - the reason the you haven't seen much discussion on it, is that it blows most CPU's out of the water.
