Default BOUNCING HELP! PLEASE RESPOND!

I'm working with the MBOX2 7.0. I have a windows XP based PC. Recording is awesome but after my recording I "bounce to disk" I made a folder prior called "Recorded"...I select WAV, STEREO, 16/44.1 and CONVERT DURING BOUNCE, then I hit BOUNCE...The audio plays back while bouncing. After the bouncing is complete I check to see if my file is in my "Recorded" folder and it is NOT...I actually adjusted the screen a few times in pro tools and litterly watched the Bounced file dissapear from the "Recorded" folder...I have only had 3 successful "Bounces" after trying several times, so i guess it only works sometimes which sucks because i'm in the middle of recording a cd. I have re-insalled protools and it bounced one file fine and then it stoped working. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have run into this problem on a couple of occasions....very, very frustrating. It isn't something that happens consistently on my system though though, and usually a restart is all that is required. I don't know what causes it or how to fix it...have you tried increasing your H/W buffer when you BTD?

Guess what? I figured out what the problem was! I disconnected the MBOX USB cord from my laptop, blew out the dust in the USB ports and switched to another port...it works like a charm now!

Awesome... Let them know over at the PRO TOOLS LE FORUM. We don't deal with MBOXES here. Thanks.
