It is.
Have been visiting doctor for many times in order to recover from temporarily(I hope) hearing loss cause of these blasts, since version 11 came out. For now I have recover and what I see is that in version 12.4 the blasts are way less often than before. I believe Avid is on the way to solve this terrible thing.
