Default Upgrading to PT 7.0

When I try to install the 7.0 version, it says I have to uninstall 6.7. I know that is true, but what happens to the prvious recording that I did. I managed to actually record and edit one song with 14 tracks and I don't want to lose it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing at all will happen. You will go to open that session up, and it'll give you some options, say your I/O setup has changed, and ask you if you would like a detailed report... Once you get through all of that, your session will open and you can save it into PT LE 7. I did this a few months ago and everything turned out fine (I had many sessions in PT LE 6, and updated them onto 7)
No Biggie!

Good Luck

As always, back up your data and them back up again to another place or another media. When in doubt, make a back up. It should not lose data simply uninstalling Protools or reinstalling, but it doesn't hurt to have a back up. Did I say "back up?"
