Assign names to Automated MIDI Controllers
I have an Access Virus Kc and I know that alot of its parameters are passed as Sysex and the MIDI Controllers, However, lets say if I wanted to automate or record a certain knob(controller) I would have to either look through the list of 120 + controllers and find which one it is or look up the number in the manual. My question is: Is there prearraged names for certain synth's controllers that can be loaded into the huge list Protools has provided. This way I can easily find the controller message I have been using. For example, if I use the Sub Osc there will be in the list of MIDI Controllers "Sub Osc(#whatever)". If someone could help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks e-rase |
