Default New Motherboard Compatability 533\'s no longer in production only the new P4PE DDR333\'

The 533 p4b motherboard is no longer in production so i bought a new asus motherboard p4pe intel 845ddr333 chipset. I started to install digi002 when half way it wouldnt let me go any further. Can anyone help me. Someone suggested a fire wire adaptec card would this work??? Can you also let me know a ruff date on the update for this motherboard. Digidesign should have a new motherboard compatability as the availability of the old 533 arent available. Please help me as i just want to enjoy my new digi 002 and get on with my music.
