STRIKE doesn't run anymore

Don't feel bad, this update plan is confusing for many.

I would best describe that instead of buying a version upgrade, you are now buying a date, which is one year after license purchase. Anything released within that window is okay to use, backdating to version 12.6.0

After that date license keeps working, but future updates will not open.

Ok. Now it's clear. Respect to all who has helped me. You guys are absolutely fenomenal!



To-do-list:

A. upgrade to High Sierra
B. buy PT 12.8.3 perpetual
C. keep recording


And I'm very happy that it's just things like this I have worry about. My heart goes out to all who are suffering in Israel, regardless who (believes) is right. Where will this end..

PS. I don’t think Strike 1.5 will work on PT12 so you would need to update that to 2.0 or higher.

I stumbled over GarageBand (I have never used it). I created a drumpart in GB, made a mp3 of it and imported it in my Protools-session.


With PT's WARP function I could time it to my session. It takes a some time and effort, but this works just fine for my recordings.


For the time being this is a perfect 'work-around' for my STRIKE problem.
