Default 12.8.3 is here!
High Sierra support and god knows what else... The "whats new file" that comes with the download is the one for 12.8.2... Hopefully some bug fixes...

Head on over to your Avid account ang get downloading!

Yeah I wonder how much time/resources are spent developing for Mac.

With the constant upgrades and changes going on in the Apple ecosystem.

I also wonder if so much time/resources weren't spent chasing Apple's tail, what kind of Pro Tools product we could have.

Indeed, a self contained, single solution would probably work the best. Or just lets all use just one single mac model and OS. Which one should we choose?

That's a pretty impressive list of fixes, many of them I've experienced, like this one

-Fixed some cases when upon session open, Pro Tools could link to the wrong file audio file based only on its name and path (PT-235564, PT-233896)

Early adopters experiences?

just installed 12.8.3 and the GUI performance is HUUUUGE!!!!!!
everything responds sooo fast!!

"Avid Audio Interface Drivers
macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) is not supported at this time."

Patiently awaiting some official clarification

I took it for a spin with a large session of mine. All was good. Now, should I dare upgrade to High Sierra?
