AIR Mini Grand: no 'long' sound, just short notes

Hi,

I'm using a Yamaha Portable Grand DGX 200 keyboard as my midi controller. I record with the sustain pedal on, but when I go to play it back, I can only get Mini Grand to play the sustain by stepping on the sustain pedal on my keyboard. And only when the instrument track is record enabled. And I can't get the sustain to work when I bounce the track, either to an audio track, or to disk. It's just staccato notes.

I haven't been able to figure out where this information is stored in the midi. But it must be there because the sustain does work when I play back per the above. But even when the sustain is working, some notes still cut off early.

Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

I'm running Pro Tools 12.4 on a Dell Latitude E7450.

I'm running Pro Tools 12 on a Dell Latitude E7450.

Look in the MIDI event list for sustain messages; it's cc64 with 0 = no sustain and 64 = sustain on.

I have a problem with PT 12.7 that the Mini Grand is not working with this version of Pro Tools, so kindly any help ?

Thanks for the reply! I do notice double notes, yet I still have the same problem when I delete the extra notes.

It looks like this is a known issue and they're sending out an update soon.

Any update on when the updates will be available? At this point the Mini Grand is rendered useless. Which is a shame, because it's a good virtual instrument.

No need to do that in this case! It's a bug in the AiR plugin(s). They are aware of that. An update should come soon.
