ProTools 9 with NO soundcard...

I bought the crossgrade to Protools 9.0.2 because I want to be able to use PT on my MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo in a hotel room without any soundcard, just with the original audio out (and in) of the Mac. Someone told me that it was finaly possible. But when launched, the program says:

"Pro Tools could not initialize the current playback device. Please make shure that the device has been configured correctly"

What should I do ???

hold down the "n" key while Pro Tools is starting up. It should let you pick a new audio device.

No problem. I banged my head against the same issue until I found this solution. You'd *think* the error message could have a button saying "click here to choose a new audio device"
