Digi Registration Spamming Me...

Ok, here's a strange one. The Digi PT registration application starting running yesterday, insisting I register PT (you know with the choice of registering a new or upgraded PT system).

The thing is, I haven't added a new version or upgraded anything.

I cancel it, but it just reappears a few minutes later. It won't go away.

Anyone experience this weirdness. It's not doing anything "bad," but it's annoying the hell out of me.

(Oh, we're HD3, 8.x, MacPro Quad 2.66, 6 gig RAM.)

You should be able to just choose "I have upgraded my Pro Tools Software".
Then it reports back by saying, "Because you have activated your product online, you're already registered. Thank You!"
Then an "Exit Registration" button appears in the lower right hand corner.

But in some cases, we have seen the registration window come up again even after doing that. If that happens then you may have to manually delete the following file:

On Mac:
"DigidesignRegistration.app"
from Applications/Digidesign/Pro Tools/

On Windows
"DigidesignRegistration.exe"
from C:\Program Files\Digidesign\Pro Tools

Deleting the file will not change your registration or the Pro Tools program in any way.
