Digi 003 Rack registration mistake

Hi,

I'm new to Digi, Pro Tools, and PTLE - I bought my first Pro Tools gear a couple of months ago, on October 24th.

When I registered my product - Digi 003 Rack, PTLE 7.4.2 - instead of 10/24/2008 I entered 10/24/2007, ie I was one year off. I'm planning on upgrading to PTLE 8, obviously my mistaken date entry won't qualify so I'm hoping I can get this fixed.

I have the order hard copy from the dealer and some other info confirming the purchase and the real date, can someone give me a hand and point me to the proper place, and proper forum if this is not the correct one, to straighten out this problem?

I looked around the Digidesign site and the DUC area to find a specific forum or email link to focus on, this is the best I could do. This is my first post here, I'm hoping that all the regulars will go lightly on me if I've transgressed any local posting rules.

I think you should contact digi customer service.. I assume you'll have to fax a copy of your receipt and other pertinent info.

After I posted my message I found the technical support number, dialed it, waited around 35 minutes on hold, then decided to give it a try early tomorrow. With a little luck I'll get through to a helpful person, give them the info, and be on my merry way.
