Trying to open 5.1.3 sessions in 12.7.0
I have some sessions that I would like to visit from long ago. They were done in 5.1.3. I am trying to open them in 12.7.0. I get this message: "The document could not be opened because it was created with an older version of Pro Tools." I tried Importing the session data, same message. Is there a work around? I'm running a Mac Desktop Pro, 10.12.2, 48 GB memory. The files were created on a Mac, a G4 on OS 9.2 (I think that's correct) running PT 5.1.3.

Probably has SDII files, PT 12 won't open those. Also, IIRC, PT 12 won't open sessions back that far.
You may be able to open them with PT 10. And PT 10 will open SDII files.

Ain't gonna work. PT is now 64 bit native older systems were 32.
