Shuttle Pro v2

Can anyone using the Shutlle Pro get the windows(start) or alt key to work with keystroke command? Control works fine. If I try and program Start+= for example it will only work if I use the start key on the keyboard first then choose the button on the shuttle. Obviously I want to make it a one step process.
