Key board shortcuts

Hello everyone,
I just installed my new version of PT12.6 HD coming from an older non HD version (Mac OSX).
I've got a strange behaviour with the Keyboard shortcuts were no all of them are working as they should.
Some examples are R and T to zoom horizzontally. To make them work I have to press ctrl+R or ctrl+T.
The function F (fade with no dialogue) doesn't work, while Command+F (fade with dialogue) works as expected.
And so on for many commands.
I tried with both Italian and English keyboard with the same results.
Is there anything I am overseeing?
Is there also the chance to see and set personalised shortcucts on the HD version?

Found the answer as soon as I posted this. The Key focus was deactivated by default.
Tried to delete my post to avoid filling the forum of rubbish but couldn't.
Admins please fee l free to clear this out.

The hotkeys aren't working as intended because keyboard focus has been disabled in your edit window. Check the small "az" button at the top right corner of the edit window (right next to the clips list). Select it to engage keyboard focus (turns yellow).
It is not possible to create your own hotkeys, however you can create macros with third party applications such as keyboard maestro and autohotkey.
