Default moving clips

Hi.
Is it posible to move a clip by keyboard, to the upper or lower track by keyboard, not by dragging it with the mouse?
I want to do it this way, to keep the TC/Sync. This way I can arrange the clips from 2-3 tracks on one track, and not moving left-right on the timeline (changing the timecode).

ah, you mean cut and paste..
and the timecode?

I use about 20 times that cut/paste per minute :))) cutting breaths ...
I was searching for some shortcuts to move from track 2 to track 1 a clip (wave) without changing it's timecode (position in time)
The second solution si much better and faster, thanks again.
About the X and V, I thought it is some UP DOWN selected clip... not cmd+x and cmd+v. the cut paste method doesn't keep the tc, it can change it if it's done in a rush.
Anyway, thank you again.

If you use the shortcuts for "move edit selection up/down" there is hardly a chance to screw that up and it will keep the TC.

You found a solution? I look like you. In Cubase-Nuendo, it's so easy ...
