Default SCSI cable specs...

Can someone tell me how many pins are in the Digi 001 SCSI cable? I was just given an old Digi 001 that I would like to use at home but I have to buy an adapter cable to plug it into my G4 (as it does not have a SCSI port on the cpu). So I have to buy a cable that transforms the scsi into usb but I have no idea what type of SCSI cable the Digi 001 comes with. I just need the pin amount then i can order this cable...

the 001 is not SCSI, it requires a host card inside your computer
the interconnect of the 001 and it's host card is rumored to be a standard 50 pin SCSI cable

I guess I should have been specific, the 001 I have is a rack mount version and it does have a SCSI connector cable...hopefully you're right about the 50pin, thank you very much!

What exactly are you trying to do here? This sentence is a bit disturbing.

Tha cable that connects the 001 breakout box to the PCI card is a rare Micro D 68-pin SCSI cable. It's not a SCSI bus though. You need the 001 PCI card. The 001 PCI card is 5V PCI only, and will not work in any G5 or newer Mac.
