Default Need a SCSI HD\" Cable for Session 8. ANyone Have?

Hi, inherited a Session 8 interface box and Powermac 8100 that came with just the software installed...no Master software discs (I don't know if i would need some authorization code
in case i need to reinstall - any idea? ) Mainly I want to buy a used or unwanted - cable
that goes from soundcard to a SCSI (50-Pin Centronics) Hard Drive...required to run
Session 8.. It was missing too. If anybody has either of these items (The cable Order #
is CS600 - PT Project Card to SCSI 50 ---- ) Please drop me a line at:
[email protected] Or, [email protected].

THANKS VERY MUCH!

Mike

Sorry, we no longer sell the hard drive cable.

The Session 8 Mac software is not copy protected, and is still available online:

I had a PTIII system in a 9150 using an internal 50 pin scsi cable. Much better to use internal drives (the 8100 should have space to fit a couple of drives comfortably) and have everything power up with the mac instead of using external cases.

You have to be a little careful folding over the cable due to space limitations. But I never had a problem. I used cables that had terminators and had up to 3 drives on a single cable.

I probably have a cable if you're determined to use external cases. email byronp at rogers.com

You could also try http://www.oakbog.com/PT3NuBus.html for other software

Find someone willing to part with PT version 4. That's best for a session 8.

good luck,

byron
